On 6th of June, Rev. Fr. K.M. Jose SDB, the provincial of INM celebrated the Solemn Eucharist of the Holy Spirit at 6:30 a.m. “In Christ for Humanity,” as the motto the inauguration of the academic year 2019-2020 was held at 9:30 a.m@ DB hall. Fr. Cassius Correya spoke on The Church as the Mystery and Mission, a critical appraisal of the Ecclesiology of ‘Avery Dulles.’ Fr. Provincial derived lessons from the author, Robin J. Sharma to impart the value of knowledge and learning. Fr. Daniel SDB was awarded the best student of the year 2016-2019 for his proficiency in studies. There are 58 students (SDB-51, SDR-3, VC-2, Diocese of Thakkalai -1, Dominican’s new order-1) and 10 resident Professors this year. Evening @ 7 p.m. the community of DBTC had the privilege of welcoming the first years and the new staff with cultural programmes.
