INAUGURATION OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024 - 2025

On 5^th June 2024, the Academic Year 2024-2025 was inaugurated with the Mass of the Holy Spirit presided over by Rev. Dr. Don Bosco Lourdusamy, the provincial of INM and Moderator of DBTC. All the professors of DBTC along with Rector, solemnly professed their faith as a sign that their life is closely knit to the Word of God, meaning that they believe what they read; teach what they believe and practice what they teach. During the inaugural function that followed Rev. Dr. Pathiaraj Rayappan, Rector of Becchi and DBTC, welcomed everyone to the New Academic Year. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Maddhichetty, Director/ Principal of DBTC, presented the Annual Report of the Academic Year 2023-2024. Rev. Dr. Stanley Jayakumar gave the inaugural lecture, titled: “Towards a Common Vision on the Church: Possibilities and Challenges”. Rev. Dr. Don Bosco Lourdusamy, the moderator of DBTC encouraged both the teaching staff and students and gave some guidelines for marching ahead together in the new academic year. Thereafter, the Principal introduced the professors to the students and the first-year students introduced themselves to the academic community. The inaugural function came to an end with a hymn to St. John Bosco at 11.20 a.m.
