On 21st and 22nd of July, Becchi Don Bosco community conducted the volleyball tournament for the young people in and around kavarapettai. There were around 40 teams participating in this tournament. The tournament was started on 21 st at 3.30 pm. The chief guest Mr. Ganaprakasam the founder and correspondent of Elite Hr. Sec. School, Gummidipundi inaugurated the volleyball tournament. The match began at 4.00 pm and it went on till 12.30 in the midnight. Then the following day, the matches were resumed at 9.30 am and it ended at 6.00 pm. The concluding ceremony was presided over by Mr. Senthamaraikannan, central Jail, puzhal 2 and he spoke about the importance of education and games. He also said that we should not rely only on games. But we also should study well, because, we are living in a competitive world. So we need to give importance to both education and games. After that, we concluded the volleyball tournament with the distribution of the prizes to the winners, runners,3rd and 4th places.
